Aaah Beautiful Skin!
Skin is a complex, dynamic structure, continually renewing itself and constantly changing in response to many external and internal factors. It takes the brunt of the many potentially damaging substances with which we come into daily contact; heat, cold, rain, bacteria, sun and chemical and environmental pollution. Your skin exudes toxins and waste products through the pores and inhales. That means that everything we put on our skin will be absorbed by the body.

Healthy skin = Gorgeous Skin

Old skin cells are gradually shed and replaced by new ones, with most cells being replaced every 28 days. As we get older our skin needs help to aid in the removal of the dead cells, have a professional facial once a month or use our home organic treatment, gentle enough for every day use.

When you take care of your skin, keep it clean, nourish it, and pamper it, it will respond with gratitude, it makes good sense to take care of it!

RAW BEAUTY 3 x 3 Programme uses a natural Exfoliator, Clay and Oil for the hair, body and face.

Hair
Use the clay as a mask on wet hair to detox and cleanse the hair
of shampoo and chemical build up. Rinse off, then rehydrate
with the oil using a deep head massage. The hair will be
smoother, shinier and healthier.

Body
Exfoliate all over using our special dry exfoliating mitt.
This stimulates the release of toxins from the body.
Then, apply the clay as an all over body mask to deeply
penetrate the skin for a detox and cleanse. Finish
with the oil to deeply rehydrate the skin. Skin will
feel amazingly softer and smoother and invigorated all over.

Face
Exfoliate the face using our special dry exfoliating mitt to
stimulate the release of toxins. Mix the clay with water
to use as a weekly deep cleansing mask or add a little
more water to use as a daily cleanser. Rinse off then
provide the skin with a deep burst of rehydration using
the Argon oil. The face will brighter, softer with a more
youthful appearance.

Tips

1. Cleanse
The single most damaging potential threat to your skin is the use of soap that is too harsh and drying. Choose a gentle cleansing product like our Rhassoul Clay that is enriched with minerals – especially if you have daily showers.

2. Exfoliate
Exfoliation improves the circulation and softens the skin, making it easier for moisturisers to absorb. Exfoliate the entire body at least once or twice a week using our body mitt. Always brush the skin towards the heart.

3. Moisturise
Use our Argan Oil all over for a deep nourishing, hydrating treatment. Especially great for dry skin and skin disorders. Try a sprinkle of bath oil in your warm bath, and as you leave the tub after a soak, the oil slick on the surface of the bath water will stick to your body, sealing in the moisture you’ve just soaked up. ( be careful, oils can make a bath slippery)

Steps to Great skin
Dirt Busters:
When washing your face, always wash your hands first, otherwise you will merely be working additional dirt into the skin. Use a gentle cleanser, put product in your hands first and then on your face, massaging gently for a few moments and then rinse, rinse, rinse and rinse again! – any residue left behind can have a drying affect. Finish with a cold rinse to stimulate the blood flow.

Polish
Gently Does It:
Use a body exfoliant once a week. Use our dry mitt on dry skin , lightly press on your skin stroking towards the heart. Use the same easy pressure that you would with a washcloth. Don’t over scrub, because you need some of those surface cells to protect your skin. To really get your circulation going, use our clay for a body mask, leave for 5-10 mins then splash with cool, then warm water.

Protect
Maximise Your Moisturiser:
All moisturisers can be made to work more effectively by dampening the skin first, as the top, dead layer of skin will absorb a small amount of water.

Skin Care: Beauty Tips for Acne Skin Care
In the normal course of events, sebum, made in the sebaceous glands deep down in the skin, travel up the hair follicle to emerge through a fine pore on the surface. However, if the sebum hardens and becomes trapped just beneath the surface of the skin, or if the dead epidermal cells stick together and clog the opening of the pore, a small pimple or blackhead will appear. Blackheads are not dirt - the secretion trapped in the pore turns black upon exposure to air.

If the blockage occurs deeper down, inflammation and primary bacterial infection combine to produce a much larger and angrier spot, which can spread when touched with dirty fingers. When the pimple becomes infected, a whitehead or pustule can develop. This is the type of blemish that can burst and may eventually scar. The biggest blemish of all is a cyst – the red, swollen result of a deeper infection. If you develop cysts, you should definitely seek the advice of a dermatologist.

Take Heed:
Do not pick at spots it really does make them worse and can leave  scarring.
